Trading Card Characters

I haven't had time to do a blog post in quite awhile so I thought I would put these up. They are from a job earlier this spring for a fantasy card game. They are a little different then most of my work, but were a really fun change of pace.

love the work Charlie- awesome compositions, as usual. How did you get that pattern in the tapestry in the first one? Thats amazing- was it done in illustrator?

Thanks Sam-- good to hear from you. How've you been? That pattern is actually just a piece of clip art from a book of Asian designs that I bought--and I just messed with it a bit to make it work for this. And, yep, its all done in illustrator.
